BLUE/GRAY CHAPTER AUTO TRADES STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP
CONGRATS TO GEROGE MELLON AND NATHAN VEGG OF THE HAZLETON AREA CAREER CENTER WINNERS OF THE 2016/17 SCHOOL YEAR AUTOMOTIVE TRADES SHCOLARSHIPS
WE ARE PROUD TO ANNOUNCE OUR WINNERS IN THE BLUE/GRAY AUTOMOTIVE TRADES SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

NATHAN VEGG IS A GRADUATING SENIOR ENROLLED IN THE AUTOMOTIVE TECHNOLOGY CLASS AT HACC AND WAS NOMINATED BY INSTRUCTOR LARRY DIBELLO,
NATHAN WILL BE ATTENDING THE UNIVERSITY OF NORTH WEST OHIO AND CONTINUING HIS STUDIES IN THE AUTOMOTIVE TRADES.
NATE HAS BEEN A FULL TIME STUDENT AND ALSO WORKING AN APRENTICESHIP AT THE LOCAL TOYOTA DEALERSHIP.

GEORGE MELLON IS A ALSO A SENIOR ENROLLED IN MACHINE TECHNOLOGY AT HACC AND WAS NOMINATED BY INSTRUCTOR JOE CHICKALESE.
GEORGE WILL BE ATTENDING THE PENN TECH COLLEGE IN WILLIMSPORT PA AN EXTENTION OF PENN STATE UNIVERSITY.

WE ARE PROUD OF THESE TWO YOUNG MEN WHO WILL CONTINUE TO KEEP AUTOMITIVE TRADES GOING FOR THE FUTURE!

The Blue/Gray Chapter of the Oldsmobile Club of America will award High School Senior Students a one time scholarship in the amount to be determined by members of the club.
 
Proceedes from Blue/Gray Club fund raisers will be used to fund the scholarship so please support the club fund raisers as they will benefit our local communities.
 
Applications will be sent to area High Schools for a senior class member who plans to continue his or her education in the Automobile Trades in either College or Trade School.
 
The scholarship will be earmarked to help with defraying the cost of the winning students books.
 
The winning student will be selected at the spring club meeting each year.
